Fantastic 4 Review for PlayStation 2 at GameSpot

Fantastic 4 Review for PlayStation 2 at GameSpot: "Fantastic 4's biggest failing is that it lacks a lot in the overall feel of the gameplay, which is important for a beat-'em-up. While you can see onscreen that you're picking up barrels and cars and throwing them at legions of foes, the controls don't make you feel all that powerful. What's more, the controls feel imprecise and floaty. The targeting system in the game is clunky, and it's sometimes difficult to lock on to anything, let alone switch between targets. "

Batman Begins Review for PlayStation 2 at GameSpot

Batman Begins Review for PlayStation 2 at GameSpot: "While reviews of the film Batman Begins indicate that the caped crusader has made a turnaround of sorts on the silver screen, we can't say the same about him as a video game superhero. Yes, the new Batman Begins game from Electronic Arts and Eurocom certainly captures the fearsome new look of Batman as portrayed in the movie. And the inclusion of high-quality voice work from Christian Bale, Liam Neeson, and the other stars from the film also contributes a lot to the overall package. Unfortunately, the gameplay feels too much like a mishmash of several other well-known gaming franchises and ends up overly simplistic. While the game is still worth a look for Batman fans, you can't help but feel that an opportunity was missed to make something more special."

PlayStation 3: Inside and Out

PlayStation 3: Inside and Out: "The new PlayStation 3 controller resembles what can very easily be described as a 'batarang.' The crescent shaped controller looks to offer the same number of buttons and analog joysticks as the PlayStation 2 controller in a new, aerodynamic design that is sure to strike fear into the criminal element. The ever-present square, circle, triangle, and X buttons make their appearance in the same arrangement as in previous Dual Shock 2 controllers. The familiar dual analog joysticks and D pad are located in all the right places. "
